What it covers
- Cover for replacing permanently lost keys and locks up to the annual limit of £1,000
- Up to £40 per day towards vehicle hire for 3 days if lost or stolen keys mean you can’t drive your vehicle, subject to the annual £1,000 limit
- Up to £1,000 cover towards locksmith charges for keys locked in vehicles or inside premises
- Cover anywhere in the EU
- Access to an approved nationwide network of locksmiths
- Access to an emergency helpline which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
What isn't covered
- Claims must be reported within 30 days of your keys being lost or stolen
- Claims relating to damaged keys or locks, or the result of wear and tear
- Lost keys will usually take up to 3 working days to be replaced
